Becoming You, Center for Transformation is seeking a full-time fully licensed mental health counselor to join our practice.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 25 client hours per week
  • Attend supervision, staff meetings, and trainings
  • Timely and accurate documentation
  • Willingness to work both through telehealth and in office

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Counseling or Social Work
  • Fully licensed in Connecticut (LPC or LCSW)
  • Must have training in EMDR or other trauma-focused therapies, or agree to receive training
  • Possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a commitment to serving people of all ethnic, racial, religious backgrounds as well as all gender sexual orientations
  • Demonstrates a collaborative style and desire to work as a member of a team
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Committed to ongoing learning and development of clinical skills, especially in the area of trauma treatment

Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 25 client hours per week
  • Attend supervision, staff meetings, and trainings
  • Timely and accurate documentation
  • Willingness to work both through telehealth and in office

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Counseling or Social Work
  • Associate licensed in Connecticut (LPC-A or LMSW)
  • Must have training in EMDR or other trauma-focused therapies, or agree to receive training
  • Possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a commitment to serving people of all ethnic, racial, religious backgrounds as well as all gender sexual orientations
  • Demonstrates a collaborative style and desire to work as a member of a team
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Committed to ongoing learning and development of clinical skills, especially in the area of trauma treatment
